The Duplicate Finder App Reviews

Works well to clearly identify duplicates, triplicates, etc. A lot of work required when deleting manually, however, since it won’t always list the file version that might be most appropriate to keep (i.e., if storage on multiple drives). Definitely a time-saver and will use it regularly.

Used this to clean up my duplicate files in my photography folder. Reads CR2 (Canon RAW) files perfectly. Way faster, better interface and better duplicate recognition than other software I have tried. Saved me loads of time. Worth the money spent.

Amazing, Amazing, AMAZING!!!!! Seriously can’t get much better than this! :) Highly recommended if your looking to delete those duplicate photos. VERY fast search and one click the duplicates are gone!

It pretty much does what it says, but woud be better if it detected files that are not absolutely identical but share enough metadata and characteristics that they are worth examining. On a laptop, some filename with the path are very long. Allowing them to wrap around so the entire path can be seen would be helpful.

I had many MP3 duplicates because iTunes imported the songs and copied them. I was afraid to remove the duplicates manually because I was i doubt. This wondefrul app does not allow to remove MP3 that are in the iTunes folder, only files that are outside of it. I double checked randomly before and after the operation. It works amazingly! Bravo!

Very slow without essential search options. Results display not easy to understand. Moving to different, paid app...

The app is very easy to handle, all the options to help you understand whether to delete something or not are there, the preview is helpful, sorting and filters are well done, works pretty fast – I’d say that’s something I’ve been looking for in this kind of app. Good job!

è velocissima ed efficace

I used it on my itunes file because i have so many duplicate songs. It actualy worked. I had several songs, and even though the file names were two different languages, it was able to detect duplicates. I love it. I was lucky to download it when it was free too :)

I had an email folder that was immense-had tens of thousands of dupes-found them in a couple of minutes and let me trash them almost as quick. Great app and highly recommended.

it’s so great! it actually found over a 1GB in duplicates that other apps didn’t find. I also glad it’s free during the fourth of july celebration. :)
