Doesn’t work on Photos

I’ve used The Duplicate Finder successfully in the past to find duplicates in my iPhoto Library. Today it failed to find a duplicate I purposely created in my Photos Library. I got a message saying “…Excluded folders and extensions are always omitted from the scanning process.” Is Photos an “excluded folder?
